Every dream needs to be driven by passion to make it come true. Sports Department is one such dream, achieved by keeping sheer passion for the sports. RMS Sports Department has big playing field to provide improved facilities & extending sports activities to its students. With a beautiful design and sprawling space sports department has gradually spread its branches for different sports and has become an epitome of entertainment among the RMS college. It initiated to set up the facilities for Cricket,Volley Ball, Table Tennis, Badminton.
The purpose of the Sports Council is to provide recognition to its students in various sports. The mission is to promote sportsmanship, leadership, competitive spirit, cooperation, and fun among students. It is the primarily student-led oversight committee responsible for advising, advocating, and unifying all the organizations within the sports department at RMS and ensuring that the participants are aware of their rights and responsibilities as student-athletes. The Sports Council serve as a link between sports department and the college administration.
CULTURAL EVENT
Today’s education system is not just confined to academics but also focuses on imparting skills like personality development, confidence building, communication skills, etiquettes, etc. Cultural activities come into play in instilling these skills in the students.
Encouraging students to participate in cultural activities is the most effective way to inculcate personality-related skills. These include activities like dancing, singing, sports, etc. Cultural activities enable students to gain confidence and understand their culture in a much better way.
The cultural activities enhance the confidence level of the students thereby allowing them to perform better. These activities develop the personality of the students and assist them in shaping a good career. In fact, students can also leverage the advantage of participating in various activities. RMS College is the annual 5-6 day long College Fest conducted in february. Heads of various institutions are invited as judges to mark this event. Students are given ample opportunities to take part in various events like Dance, Singing,, Art of Mehandi etc
